London to Land’s End EV Rally to put electric vehicles to the test in multi-day endurance event

From city cars to public buses, an eclectic electric fleet hits the road for a three-day infrastructure and endurance challenge from London to Land’s End.

LONDON, UK — 12 June 2026 – A pioneering convoy of electric vehicles will hit the tarmac next weekend to complete The Big Lemon London to Land’s End Electric Vehicle Rally, an ambitious multi-day EV endurance event charting a course across the south of England. Incorporating the popular London to Brighton EV Rally on Saturday 20th June, the event will push onward across Salisbury Plain and through the rugged peaks of Dartmoor, concluding at Land’s End on Monday 22nd June.

The primary purpose of the rally is to test the vehicles and regional infrastructure with a range of challenges and find out how easy it is to travel cross-country in the UK using only 100% renewable energy.

The event is the 6th in a series which began with the original London to Brighton EV Rally in 2021. Since then the rally has been to Paris, Geneva and Amsterdam; always with the same aim of testing, demonstrating and celebrating the rapid developments in EVs and charging infrastructure.

The vehicle line-up includes everything from compact urban commuter cars and long-range family SUVs to commercial fleet vehicles and full-sized public passenger buses. This broad showcase directly demonstrates that zero-emission transport solutions are fully matured and operational across personal, commercial, and public sectors alike.

A Route Built to Test Vehicles and Grid Infrastructure

The carefully curated itinerary includes a range of challenges designed to test the vehicle, the driver and the infrastructure to the limit. Tests will include range, efficiency, cost, regenerative braking performance and how far participants can get along the route using only 100% renewable energy.

The event is organised by the team behind The Big Lemon eco-bus company and supported by Zapmap, the official Public Charging Payment Partner.

Tom Druitt, Event Director, said

“We’re very excited to be taking the rally to Land’s End this year, demonstrating how easy it is to travel around the UK with zero carbon and zero emissions. With so many options now, including electric bus operators like The Big Lemon, and Zapmap’s Charging Payment cards, travelling around the country in a sustainable way has never been simpler.
