20-22 June 2026
Organised by the EV Rally Club
Following the huge success of the London to Amsterdam EV Rally 2025 last year we’re excited to announce that we are going to sunny Cornwall in June 2026!

Day 1 will be the classic London to Brighton EV Rally, finishing on Brighton seafront with the traditional celebration of electric vehicles and renewable technologies, an obligatory ice cream and the chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones.

Day 2 will be focused on your vehicle’s carbon emissions. Many tariffs claim to be green, but you’ll need to fill up with enough energy to complete the mileage, and find the lowest source en route. We’ll have challenges along the way, including an off-road stage.

Day 3 sees you heading deep into the West Country, pirate country! And we have a little something in store for you. Something that will take you away from the A roads, firmly onto the B roads and if you’re really lucky maybe even away from the B roads.

We’ve lined up a Cornish scavenger hunt of sorts for you lovely people to get you off the beaten track, into the sticks and interacting with the local folk. All the while, highlighting fantastic sustainable and off-grid initiatives. How many of the spots you hit is up to you, your vehicles range and just how far you’re willing to push it. Wave goodbye to the service stations cos we got this!

We are really excited to be working with Kevin and Tom at Nerpa Travel on the event this year – they have previously been involved in the Mongol Rally and are organising an electric motorbike rally in Vietnam in December (looks amazing!). They are cooking up a special adventure for Day 3 off the beaten track in Devon and Cornwall…

Our Finish on Monday evening will be the Land’s End Hotel, perched on the cliffs at the very end of England, where we will have a celebratory buffet, drinks and prizes. Prizes will be awarded for the most efficient vehicles, as well as those who aced the challenges along the way!

Previous years:
The London to Amsterdam EV Rally was the fifth event in a series kicked off by Brighton chums Bill Murray and Tom Druitt with the very first London to Brighton EV Rally in 2021, run in partnership with The Big Lemon and sponsored by EDF.
Rising EV star Harrison Hughes joined the team in 2022 and then in 2023 we ran the first London to Paris EV Rally. In 2024 the team decided to branch out, with Bill and Harrison focusing on the London to Brighton event and Tom leading the international stage.

Tom set up a club, the International EV Rally Club, to run the international events, kicking off with the London to Geneva EV Rally 2024.
Join the club!
The International EV Rally Club is based on the same values of innovation, inclusiveness and fun that has inspired the rally since the beginning, with the aim of testing the limits and pushing the boundaries of the technology (both vehicles and infrastructure); and building a community of like-minded people to share ideas, contacts and experiences.

The EV Rally Club is open to all. You don’t need to be an EV owner, you don’t need to be a die-hard enthusiast, and you don’t even need to take part in the rally – all you need is an interest in EVs, renewables or just green tech in general… and £1.

The Club is a space for people to meet like-minded folk from the UK, Europe and around the world, interested in EVs and advancements in technology to support the transition to a more sustainable world. The Club will organise an annual international rally event to demonstrate and celebrate the progress in electric vehicles and the infrastructure to support them.

Through pushing the boundaries of the rally each year we aim to put the vehicles and the infrastructure to the test, looking to find out exactly what works well, and what doesn’t – yet! The rally will be fun, but realistic. It’ll be an adventure, things will go wrong, infrastructure will fail and at times you’ll wish you’d stayed at home. But most of all it’ll be exciting, you’ll get to meet many wonderful people and you’ll make memories that’ll last a lifetime.
